Join us for the first annual Marshall Seed Swap, hosted by Marshall Garden Club!
As a community we can acclimatize local seed, preserve our seed heritage, and promote biodiversity!
Come by Marshall High School Cafeteria from 10am-12pm to swap seeds and stories. Then following the seed swap, join us for a community potluck at noon
What to Bring:
—Open pollinated seeds, cuttings, bulbs, root stocks, & plants
—Used envelopes, bags, or other containers for your new seeds
—Stories and growing tips about your seeds
—Bring your kids! We will have a KID’S CRAFT CORNER
—A potluck dish if you’d like to join us for a meal after swapping
The event is FREE and open to the public! You do not need to bring seeds to attend but we encourage them if you have some to share.
Our goal is to have as many heirloom seeds as possible, but organic, non GMO, and seeds you’ve saved yourself are all fair game
No registration necessary.
