Quilt Show – April 5th

The Searcy County Quilt Guild is sponsoring a quilt show on Saturday April 5th from 10:00 am till 4:00 pm at the Searcy County Fairgrounds in Marshall.

Mark your calendars and check out all the beautiful quilts that the ladies of the Quilt Guild have to offer.

John T. Wayne – Book Signing and Event – March 22

Western author John T. Wayne, grandson of legendary actor John Wayne, will conduct a book signing Saturday, March 22, in Marshall, Arkansas.

The former Marine will conduct the book signing at 4 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Hall in Marshall.

There will be a Spaghetti Supper at 5 p.m. Cost is $10 a plate and all profits go to the Veterans Memorial Hall.

At 6 p.m. Alan Guthrie and The Family Band will provide entertainment!

Everyone come out and enjoy the music, food and fun and meet a relative of a genuine American hero.

Classic Chocolate Roll In Car Show – March 15

In addition to great music and plenty of chocolate rolls to sample, there will be a classic car show held on Saturday, March 15, in conjunction with the 3rd Annual MHS Art Club Chocolate Roll Festival.

The car show will be held at the Marshall High School Gym parking lot. There were some very nice cars represented last year, check out the pictures below. If you have a nice classic car, come show it off. There are door prizes, and best of all, it’s FREE!
