The Ozark Mountain Market is a Farmers/Craft Market that is held on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month, May thru October from 8am till Noon in beautiful downtown Leslie, Arkansas.
The Market is a project of the Leslie Art’s and Heritage Committee.
The goal of the Ozark Mountain Market is to strengthen community bonds and relationships while promoting local talent, and encouraging economic growth. We believe this will benefit the area by offering a fresh supply of locally grown produce that is healthy for our bodies, wallets, community, and planet.
By organizing and providing space for the market, we would like to:
• Offer a venue for our farmers and local crafters to earn an income and get promotion for their talents.
• Make available quality food for those on a tight budget.
• Offer the community a venue for gathering, exchanging of ideas, and networking.
• Donate booth space for our local youth groups to use.
• Foster relationships and economic stimulus within the area.
Proceeds received from this market via donations will go to promote a long term, prosperous market, as well as fund similar community projects through the Arts & Heritage committee. All donations are reinvested into the community and we appreciate your support. As a rural Arkansas community, our roots are based in agriculture and self-sufficiency. These are our ideals, and we hope you will share with us in creating a stronger connection with our natural heritage.
