The Beauty of Our Area

The Ozarks is home to some of the most beautiful areas on earth, and Searcy County is certainly no exception.   From the Buffalo National River that runs through the northern third of the county, to the rugged Richland Creek area in the Southwestern corner, Searcy County is home to some really spectacular scenery.   These pictures are located in an area that is called “Dry Creek Falls” which is located in the Western part of the county.  This area has been photographed extensively over the years, and it continues to be very popular with hikers and nature photographers.    Paul Caldwell graciously allowed us the use of  his pictures to show off the beauty of this area.  Visit Paul’s site for more wonderful photos of Arkansas.

Relocate to Searcy County

Enjoying the Good Life in the Arkansas Ozarks

Searcy County, Arkansas, has some of the most beautiful country on earth.  The Ozark Mountains reign majestically here and the Buffalo National River winds its way through the northwest corner of the county, drawing canoeists to floats that leave lifelong memories.  Our town names are as colorful as our hardwood forests in autumn.  Searcy County offers the relaxed pace and charm of small-town, rural living.  However,  we are in close proximity to trade, cultural and recreation areas.  The good life is here in the Arkansas Ozarks.  The area is quiet, the property values and Property Taxes are very reasonable.
