Join Startup Junkie and the Searcy County Chamber of Commerce for Small Business Roadmap — a free, hands-on workshop at the Searcy County Library in Marshall designed for aspiring entrepreneurs and existing small business owners alike!

In about an hour, we'll walk through two of the most useful tools for getting a new venture off the ground:
The Lean Canvas — a one-page way to capture your entire business model, so you can see the whole picture at a glance instead of writing a 30-page plan.
Idea validation — simple, low-cost ways to test demand and talk to real customers before you invest serious time or money.
You'll leave with a working draft of your own Lean Canvas and a clear set of next steps to pressure-test your idea in the real world.
Who should come: Anyone with a business idea they want to take seriously.
Current small business owners looking to refine or expand.
Side-hustlers, makers, and first-time founders in Searcy County and the surrounding area.

Coming back to Marshall this July, Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) military medical mission! The IRT, in partnership with Northwest Arkansas Economic Development District, Inc., Delta Regional Authority, and various community partners is planned for the 16-25 July timeframe at the Marshall High School! Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) is a military training opportunity that provides hands on experience for service members to train in a joint environment to enhance military readiness, while building civil-military partnerships and providing key services in Searcy County. NO-COST dental, vision, sports physicals, medical, and behavioral health services are planned to be offered July 16th through July 25th! Anyone and everyone is welcome! 160 to 180 Army and Air Force Reserve personnel are coming to Marshall! Care is delivered by credentialed healthcare professionals and services are open to everyone in the community. No insurance or identification required! Free!
