Arbour Season is an indie/folk husband and wife duo who draw inspiration from the incredible adventures experienced all across North America in a converted school bus/home. Their unique journey inspires the ambient folk sound that captures the serenity of the Western vistas, the rhythms of the Eastern coastlines, and the brilliance of the national forests. They express their passion for life through music and invite others to travel along by listening to the intricate instrumentation, layered harmonies and lyrics that tell their stories.

The Searcy County Civic Center in Marshall, in conjunction with the Greater Searcy County Chamber of Commerce, is hosting a Business & Nonprofit Expo from 9am till 2pm at the civic center on Thursday, 5 Nov. 11/11/26 - Searcy County Veteran's Day Ceremony
Our honored Veteran's Day speaker in Marshall on Wednesday, 11 November at 11am is Major Maurice “Mo” Gilmore, US Army Reserve Retired! Please come honor our veterans at this special ceremony at the Searcy County Veterans Memorial Association at 108 Noah Horton Memorial Drive in Marshall. Major Gilmore served in the US Army Reserve from 1982 to 2004. He served in the 431st Civil Affairs Battalion, North Little Rock AR, Computer Programmer and Civil Affairs Officer, 1982 to 1994, the 460th Chemical Brigade, North Little Rock AR, Aide-de-Camp, 1994-1995, and in HQ, 90th Regional Readiness Command, North Little Rock AR, Transportation Officer, 1995-2004.
He attended the Defense Language Institute, Presidio of Monterey CA, German Basic Course, 1985-1986, also the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center, Fort Bragg NC, Civil Affairs Officer Advanced Course in 1993, and the US Army Command and General Staff College, Combined Arms Service Staff School at Fort Leavenworth, KS in 1999.
Major Gilmore was in West Germany in November 1989 with the 8th Infantry Division when the borders with East and West Germany started coming down and people started crossing over freely. He is a combat veteran serving with the 431st Civil Affairs Battalion in Operation Desert Storm in 1991.
Gilmore worked for the State of Arkansas from 1994 to 2023. He was a Certified Law Enforcement Officer with Arkansas Tobacco Control and Alcoholic Beverage Control from 2001 to 2023. Mo’s wife Jayla Gilmore and daughter Addeline Gilmore currently live in Marshall AR.
