We had almost 1.4 million recreation visits to the Buffalo River in 2025. Searcy County is the ONLY rural county in Arkansas that had net positive migration for both the 2010-2019 and 2020-2021 time frames, according to Communities Unlimited, meaning more people moved into Searcy County during those time periods than moved out.
