Fall Foliage

Searcy County is approximately the center of the Arkansas Ozarks and has gorgeous Ozarks' Fall Foliage! Elevation peaks out a little above 2,000 feet in some parts of the county. Our part of Arkansas has two Fall Color peaks. The early peak is from the edge trees like maple, dogwood, blackgum, sweetgum, sassafrass, ash, sumac, etc. and occurs give or take a dew days of 21 October. The 2nd Fall Color peak is for the oak trees and occurs give or take a few days of 7-10 November.
