Ya'll come for an Arkansas 250 Historical Marker Dedication for the Buffalo National River at the Gilbert General Store on Monday March 2nd at 10:30 AM! The Arkansas 250 Commission has selected eleven locations across the state to receive special commemorative markers recognizing their unique contributions to Arkansas’s history and heritage over the past 250 years. The third marker in the series will be dedicated on March 2, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in Gilbert, Arkansas, near the shore of the Buffalo National River, in front of the historic Gilbert General Store.
